Had to scan this in and post it. She presented this to me and was super excited about including “baby Lydia.” We sometimes forget that during this very long wait, there are siblings waiting too.

While Ashlyn and I attended the princess party, the boys headed to Phili for a hockey game. We give our kids 3 gifts each for Christmas, based on the 3 gifts from the wise men for Jesus. One gift is practical, something they can use. One gift is experiential, something they can do with us. And, the last gift is their “gold” gift, something they really really want. So, this year, Ashlyn’s experiential gift was tickets to go to the Narnia exhibit at the Franklin Institute. The boys’ experiential gift was tickets to go to a real hockey game with their dad. So, while Ashlyn got dolled up, the boys hockey’ed it up. The pics from Mark’s phone aren’t great quality. But, as Mark put it, they are still “blogworthy.”
