Yeah, I was there. I went shopping at 9pm last night and got some deals. It was madness and fun. I confess. As I looked around at all that stuff though, I couldn’t help thinking about all the money being spent and all the junk filling the aisles and how a big arrow with the word “DEAL” pointing to some trinket makes people fill their carts.
But, the day is nearly over now. Black Friday and crazy deals to get people in the door to wow them into spending money is almost done…sort of. I’ve got a lot of my boxes checked with things I needed to buy at those places, mind you. But, there’s still a good bit of wiggle room with some of those remaining boxes on my list. And, I’d love to wisely shop for those folks…you know, shop with more than one purpose in my mind. It’s not just get the gift; it’s get the gift and do some good at the same time.
That’s shopping with purpose. Sounds pretty cool, huh?
If you’re into the idea too, here are some suggested places to get you started. Feel free to add links to others you know of so we can check ’em all out and multiply the joy this season.
Feel free to click on over here and grab the code to share these sites on your own blog too.

I felt this way yesterday too! I couldn’t even go deal with the crowds and the stuff and the excess because I just kept thinking that I could use my money for GOOD. So, I love this post and will share these links on my blog, as well!! Thanks so much, Kelly!!!! :)
