I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling the need to hear some words from God right now (can I get an Amen?). And, frankly, when do I not need to be reminded of His words?
I could use a little bit of this…
1 Timothy 4: 12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Or a reminder of this…
2 Corinthians 5:7
For we live by faith, not by sight
And, oh boy, I could use this reminder too…
Deuteronomy 6:4-7
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
What verse or passage do you need reminding of? Wanna wear James 1:27 around your neck? Or maybe have John 3:16 on your keychain? Father’s Day gifts, anyone? Simin from This Word’s For You will work with you to make exactly what you want. And, when you are setting up that custom listing with Simin, say thank you for supporting adoption and the work of The Sparrow Fund, okay?
I’m wondering if I should have two anklets, two bracelets, a couple necklaces, a bookmark, a keychain, a belt, shoelaces, and maybe a ponytail holder (???) made up just so I’ve got reminders all over me. Some days are just like that.
