Holy Guacamole!!!! That’s some serious cash for a DOG!!!!! :)
Sawyer really wants a dog too, and while I am not fond of dogs, I do think dogs and boys go hand-in-hand. Problem is…..Chloe has a mortal fear of animals. Poor Sawyer….who knows if he’ll ever have a dog! :)
My In-Laws got a miniature long haired Dachshund puppy in January. My kids think it’s theirs too. They got to name him- Rascal. And Kaitlyn always refers to him as my puppy at Mom-Mom’s house. So if you don’t want a dog….just get a Grandparent to get one!!
She probably thought you were pulling her leg when you told her, “It costs a lot of money”. She probably thought, How could puppies cost a lot of money???
WHOA!!! I know that the pet stores are always a bit spendier though… I think they come with all shots taken care of, insurance, etc…and of course, the store’s profit on top of the breader’s profit!!! WOW!
Maybe you should visit the shelter next time! LOL!!
I admire your strength in saying no to that adorable little face she has–oh my your daughter is the sweetest thing!
But, OH my goodness–that’s a lot of mula! I say–she can fall in love with a rescue league dog too….and they’re not $1000. Both our “girls” were adopted from the rescue league and they are such amazing dogs–the we are the envy of the neighborhood adults and kids alike. We got both ours as pups (Montana was 6 months old and Sadie was just 8 weeks) and they seriously have been precious parts of our lives. :)
Good for you for saying no…….that money could be your plane ticket for your daughter coming home from CHina!!! ALthough, she is very cutE!!!! Too funny!
