And, the winner is…Julia’s mom Janette with a LID of 7/27/2007, only a few days after our own LID! The kids actually did get the concept now of what a sweepstakes is. Of course, after I explained, “See, only one person actually wins. Everyone else didn’t win this time,” Evan replied, “But, I want to win the Speedracer toy, not anyone else.” Got a few more lessons to learn…but, I admit the lesson he needs to learn is one I’m still working on.

PS – I’m a bit ashamed that I wrote 7.27.07 as our LID, it was in fact our DTC date. Our actual LID is 8.15.07. Silly me, I guess I got so excited to enter the contest that I mixed up the two numbers.
